How to Recognize Your Portuguese Citizenship
Portuguese citizenship has a generational limit for obtaining citizenship (children, grandchildren). So, if you are a child or grandchild of a Portuguese citizen, and/or your parents are, you have a privilege.

Great-grandson
If you are a great-grandson of a Portuguese citizen, you only have the right to recognition of your citizenship if they are alive. However, it is also possible for your father or mother, as grandchildren, to obtain it first and then pass it on to you (in this case, it is not necessary for your great-grandparents to be alive). Spouse
A Brazilian citizen married to or living in a stable union for at least three years with a Portuguese citizen has the right to Portuguese nationality.
The process is facilitated if the relationship has lasted for at least six years, or if the spouses have a child in common who has already obtained nationality through the attribution process.
If the relationship is a marriage, the marriage must be registered on the Portuguese spouse's birth certificate. If it is a stable union, it must be recognized by a Portuguese court.
